Design Overview
Among all web design projects, this website was special in that I started using a number of “new” technologies, for example cascading style sheets. In 1999 not commonplace, these days a must for every site. Also, I paid particular attention to a sleek and consistent design (see thumbnails on the right and below).
After the public launch of the site in September 1999, the group’s web master has been in charge of upkeep and design decisions. Gratifyingly, my design is still compelling in today’s world, truely a testament to the power of classic design.
