Parmarth Girls is a fundraising project for the construction of a center that will provide housing, education, counseling and spiritual nourishment for young orphaned Indian girls.
The project was inspired by an existing program for young Indian boys which has proved to be highly successful, headed up by Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh, India.

While visiting Rishikesh, I witnessed myself the amazing transformation of the students at Parmarth – it was apparent that the fundraising website for the corresponding girls’ center had to reflect the same positive spirit.
The website’s goal is to inspire people from all over the world to become involved in the fundraising efforts in whatever way they can. Volunteers will be able to see the difference that their contributions made by matching them to specific projects that have a direct impact on reaching the monetary goal – events such as bake sales, car washes, and collection jars at yoga studios.
The website will serve as the official gateway to coordinate volunteer efforts as well as allowing sponsors to make donations.

This project – still being refined – is going to showcase one of Bright Launch’s premier design tenets: Creating compelling websites by combining beautiful photography with great content, supported by sleek design. To this end, our designers created a website template that will be customized by the client with high-quality photography and text content. Fitting for a country like India, our designers allowed earthy brown, orange and yellow colors to dominate the site layout.
The client heavily relied on Bright Launch’s project management expertise to identify crucial issues to the success of the organization’s mission, creating a global community for fundraising efforts on behalf of the orphaned girls of Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh, India. Much of Bright Launch’s work focused on developing a global gateway to volunteer efforts and fundraising activities, for example through a database-driven bulletin board forum. This forum was configured as a custom content management system that allows volunteers from all around the world to update event listings, post feedback on various discussion threads – all while relieving the administrative staff in the US from repetitive tasks now autonomously handled by the software.

Bright Launch combines beautiful photography, compelling content and exceptional visual design to create a web presence that delivers results. We believe that the ultimate strength of any website lies in the richness of its content and the degree to which it invites visitors to interact, bookmark, and return again.
First impressions count, especially with small businesses and organizations. If you’re a client and you’re looking at whether you want to do business with Company A or Company B, you’ll be more likely to go with the one that appears professional and credible because of the way it represents itself. A great website can make a small company or organization appear more like a big business, and it confers the trust necessary to compel a potential client to engage with you.
Bright Launch retains expert knowledge in emerging technologies, and provides its clients with exactly what their businesses need. Keeping costs in check is a big concern for many small businesses, so Bright Launch’s developers work predominantly with free and secure open-source software applications that don’t cost a dime, are easily configured and benefit from a huge developer-base working tirelessly on new features.
Recent examples of Bright Launch’s work with open-source database-driven websites are in the areas of ecommerce (Julia Tan Jewelry), bulletin boards (Making It In The City) and blogs (Parmarth Girls, Uli.Iserloh.Blog, Customized Blogs for Blogspot, Blogsome, LiveJournal, MSN Spaces).
